Tell Me What You See
Most people who find me have already tried the usual things.
They don't need another method.
They need someone who can see what's going on.
That's where I come in.
Sometimes the truth of a situation stays blurred, no matter how hard you stare at it.
You’ve exhausted your logic and tired out the conversation, but the ghost of the problem is still there.
I help people reach past the mental clutter to find the current underneath.
My work is all about ending the cycle of second-guessing, learning to lean into what you already know, and moving forward from a clear center.
Ways to work with me:
The Understory Session
For when you have the words but can't find the meaning.
Send me a voice note, a rambling text, a thought that won't stop looping. I'll read between the lines and write back a reflection — a gentle map to help you find your way back to what you already know.
One message in. One reflection out. 48-hour turnaround.
$75
The Seeing Session
For when the fog rolls in and you need a clear set of eyes to find your landmarks.
A high-focus, 30-minute Zoom session — no backstory, no preamble — just the knot you're currently trying to untie, looked at together from a different angle.
You bring the static. We'll find the signal.
$95
The Taproot Session
For the thing that won't let go.
Some loops don't break with more analysis — they break when you finally see the root. A 60-minute Zoom session designed to find the specific thread keeping you tied to the same spot.
Stop looping. Start landing.
$150
The Groundwork Session
Some things can't be talked through — they have to be felt. Field Notes is a two-hour, in-person equine assisted coaching session at the farm, designed for the clarity a screen can't give you.
Working with horses as intuitive partners, we go straight to what your nervous system already knows. No riding. No prior experience needed. Just you, the land, and something that won't lie to you.
This is a reset where you’ll leave with clarity in your body, not just your head.
$255
On Time, Gifts, and Longer Journeys:
Clarity doesn't always follow a standard calendar. If you don’t see a time in the booking that aligns with your schedule, or if you feel called to gift a session or commit to a longer sequence of work together, please reach out. I hold space for the conversations that need creative scheduling.
How it Works:
Everything begins with what’s already there.
You don’t need to prepare anything before you arrive. You can come with a situation, a question, or just the sense that something isn’t quite right and you’re tired of sorting it on your own.
If you choose The Understory, you’ll send your writing or voice message after booking. I’ll read it closely and write back with what I see within 48 hours.
If you book a live session, you’ll receive your Zoom link or directions for arrival to the farm along with a short prompt to help you arrive to your time with what feels most important.
Who is this for?
This is for the ones who have thought their way into a corner.
You are likely high-functioning, perceptive, and deeply self-aware. You’ve done the reading, you’ve had the conversations, and you can map out your patterns with clinical precision. Yet, despite all the understanding, the loop remains.
You’ll find a home in my work if:
The Why is no longer enough. You know exactly why you do what you do, but that knowledge hasn’t translated into a shift.
You are tired of your own narrative. You find yourself repeating the same story to yourself, to your friends, to your therapist, and you’re ready for a different frequency.
Something feels off but out of reach. You have a nagging sense of being misaligned, but the harder you squint at it, the blurrier it gets.
You need to get out of your head and onto the ground. You recognize that more analysis won't save you, and you’re looking for a way to let the noise settle so you can hear what you actually know.
You aren’t looking for a cheerleader or a five-step plan. You are looking for an ally and a witness , a clear lens and a steady presence (human and horse alike) to help you see the root of the repetition. You’re ready to stop the mental gymnastics and finally do the work of landing.
About Kimberly:
I believe the truth is usually quieter than we think.
I’m Kimberly Carter, a writer, a coach, and a witness to the shifts that happen when we finally get out of our own way. My work lives in the space between knowing and doing. Living and working on a farm has taught me that growth can’t be forced, but the obstacles to it can be removed once they are seen. I help people find their footing by bridging the gap between the analytical mind and the grounded heart.
From Stable Roots:
Stable Roots is where I write about the things that dwell underneath our lives.
It is a collection of observations on the patterns we move through, the places we hesitate, and the moments when the blurred edges of a problem finally come into focus. It’s an exploration of the architecture of our days — and the shifts required to change them.
The Relatively Stable podcast. It is a space for the spoken word where you’ll listen to weekly voiceovers of my essays and honest conversations with people who have lived through massive shifts in their own lives. We don't talk about transformation. Instead we stay rooted in what it means to rebuild your life from a place of integrity, creativity, and meaning.
If you want to understand the frequency of my work, these places are a great start.
